On Saturday, BKS Bobrzanie hosted Miedź Legnica’s reserve team. Bolesławiec’s team took the lead in the 12th minute. Marek Kumoś took the corner. Błażej Rajchel scored with a header Błażej Rajchel. In the 22nd minute, the referee awarded BKS a free kick. The Miedź goal was about 30 metres away, but Marek Kumoś’s shot surprised the visiting goalkeeper, who saved himself by clearing the ball for a corner. The Legnica side took their first shot at Dawid Kizyma’s goal only in the 30th minute of the match. Paweł Wyga’s shot hit the side netting. During the final 10 minutes of the first half, the visitors created several dangerous chances. Only thanks to some very good saves by the BKS goalkeeper did the team avoid conceding two or even three goals. Bolesławiec’s team were also lucky when a Miedź player’s shot hit the goalpost.
Despite their one-goal lead, Bolesławiec’s team played poorly. A lot of inaccuracy and a lack of ideas in attack meant that the players finished their moves on the edge of the visitors’ penalty area. It looked as though Bolesławiec’s team did not know whether to shoot or pass. Each such moment of hesitation ended with the loss of possession. The goal was threatened when our players took set pieces.
In the second half, the visitors attacked more and more frequently. In the 65th minute, the Legnica side equalised with a shot by Marcin Baran. The conceded goal motivated BKS. In the 68th minute, Paweł Rissmann missed from close range. A moment later, the same player narrowly missed again, this time with a header. In the 69th minute, Sławomir Iskrzak took advantage of confusion in the Miedź penalty area and beat the goalkeeper with a gentle shot. Two minutes later, the referee sent Albert Kaczor off. The Legnica player fouled Marek Kumoś and was shown a red card. BKS took advantage of the extra man. In the 74th minute, following a pass from Mateusz Janczyszyn, Błażej Rajchel scored another header.
In the 80th minute, Paweł Rissmann extended the lead to 4:1 with a header. In the final minute of the match, Marcin Baran scored Miedź’s second goal. BKS defeated Miedź II Legnica 4:2 and moved up to sixth place in the table.
