The competition, organized by the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec and the “Camera” Photographic Association, attracted 19 participants whose entries were considered in two categories: amateurs and professionals. The jury, composed of Andrzej Pytliński, Krzysztof Łukasiewicz and Barbara Glinkowska, awarded 4 prizes and 7 distinctions. Jury chairman Andrzej Pytliński discussed contemporary trends in photography and reviewed the photographs submitted to the competition.
The competition winners were: in the amateur category: 1st place: Wiktoria Jędryczka; distinctions went to Marcin Haraźny, Maria Licimińska, Kalina Śliwińska and Remigiusz Masiel; in the professional category: 1st place: Grzegorz Sidorowicz, 2nd place: Piotr Sadowski, 3rd place: Roman Kowalski; distinctions went to Grzegorz Matoryn, Bartosz Witaszczyk and Jerzy Paluszczyszyn.
The award ceremony was accompanied by a presentation entitled “Bolesławiec in Solargraphy” prepared by Grzegorz Sidorowicz, as well as a display of the cameras used to take the photographs.
