As last year, we plan to organise five cycles for:

  • preschools “I Go to the Cinema”
  • primary schools: grades I–III “Film Secrets”, grades IV–VI “The World of Film”
  • lower-secondary schools and grades VII–VIII “Young People in the Frame”
  • upper-secondary schools “Difficult Topics”

As part of each cycle, seven meetings will be held once a month from October 2018 to April 2019. Before each screening, multimedia presentations will introduce viewers to the subject matter of the film. Extensive teaching materials for teachers and suggestions for using them in school classes have been prepared for each title. The entire New Horizons Film Education programme complies with the core curriculum and has recommendations from the Ministry of National Education.
