Bolesławiec ITF Taekwon-do Club invites children, teenagers and adults to classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Location: Primary School No. 2, 2 Juliusz Słowacki Street, Bolesławiec.

Practising Taekwon-do brings a wide range of benefits:

  • health-related – associated with physical fitness
  • practical – resulting from self-defense skills
  • psychological – associated with the ability to cope with stress, personality development and the shaping of moral attitudes
  • educational – from their very first training session, all participants must follow specific rules of conduct based on respect and trust.

Taekwon-do is not merely a sport consisting of a set of techniques used in self-defense, but an art and a way of life.

Coaching staff

  • Jacek Radwański – V Dan, certified Taekwon-do coach
  • Marek Marzec – VI Dan, Taekwon-do instructor
  • Marek Jurczak – I Dan, Taekwon-do instructor (physical education teacher).

Taekwon-do was created by South Korean General Choi Hong Hi, who developed a modern self-defense system based on ancient Korean fighting systems. It was initially used by the Korean military and later adapted for civilian use.

The first Taekwon-do section in Bolesławiec was established in 1982. It was founded by Sławomir Dydiszko (now VIII Dan), who currently serves as coordinator of the Swedish Taekwon-do Association and has been a longtime coach of Sweden’s national team.

After coach S. Dydiszko emigrated, the Bolesławiec ITF Taekwon-do Club was established in 1992 on the initiative of Jacek Radwański. To this day, classes have been continuously led by Jacek Radwański and Marek Marzec.

The club is affiliated with the Polish Taekwon-do Association, the All European Taekwon-do Federation and the International Taekwon-do Federation.

See you at training!
