A 33-year-old resident of Gromadka municipality, who broke into cars and stole car stereos and CB radios, was apprehended by Bolesławiec and Polkowice police. Investigators proved that the man had committed 9 offenses. Moreover, at the detainee’s property they found a stolen Volkswagen worth more than PLN 40,000.
The man carried out his activities mainly in Chocianów. He covered the several-kilometre route from his hometown on foot or by bicycle.
He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
