Let us recall. Recently, we reported that we had received from a Reader a tip that someone had poured leftover concrete into a ditch in the small forest by the road between Żeliszów and Suszki.
“Tauron is building a medium-voltage cable line there and commissioned us to carry out the boring under the pipes,” Mirosław Małek from As Małek said in a conversation with istotne.pl Mirosław Małek . “The boring involves a drilling rig using bentonite, that is, water mixed with fine clay. There are no chemicals there; bentonite is completely neutral to the environment, as confirmed by a certificate from the Polish Society of Hygiene.”
When the aforementioned bentonite dries, it turns into very fine sand, which under certain conditions can indeed be mistaken for concrete. Nevertheless, it has nothing to do with the latter.
The project is still underway. “The AS Małek company certainly does not litter in the forest,” M. Małek emphasizes.
