The incident occurred on 10 August. As we read on the Facebook profile of the volunteer firefighters from Raciborowice (Warta Bolesławiecka municipality):
On Friday afternoon, at 3:03 p.m., the siren sounded again at our fire station. The call concerned a nest of wasps and hornets in Iwiny that posed a danger to people.
The operation involved locating the nest and efficiently removing it.
Firefighters from the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec also took part in the operation.
