The incident occurred today near Wilczy Las. A dust devil, or sand devil, is often observed in Poland. This phenomenon consists of particles of dust or sand lifted from the Earth's surface. It takes the form of a rotating column with a small diameter. The vortex ranges in height from several to more than a thousand metres.
