The incident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. near Mierzwin. The motorcyclist was riding too fast, went off the road on a bend and crashed forcefully into a ditch.
The man was conscious after the incident. An ambulance and police were dispatched to the scene. Unfortunately, the man's condition worsened. A rescue helicopter was called. The motorcyclist, who had suffered a spinal injury, was transported by helicopter to hospital.
Let us add that yesterday in Bożejowice a motorcyclist hit the back of a car. An ambulance with its siren on took him to hospital.
Update 9:30 p.m.
The motorcyclist was drunk, with a blood alcohol level of 1.4 per mille. He also did not have a license to ride a motorcycle.
