The “Wspólnota” magazine published a ranking of the revenues of local-government units in 2017. As it turns out, Bolesławiec fell three places in the category of county towns: from 34th place in 2016 to 37th place the following year. (In 2015, we ranked 21st in this list.)

Interestingly, the wealth of the Municipality of Bolesławiec itself did not suffer—and once again, quite the opposite: it increased by approximately PLN 140 per person (from income of PLN 3,193.49 per resident in 2016 to PLN 3,334.41 per capita in 2017). This is an increase of approximately 4.4 percent.
