The Lower Silesian fourth-division football season was scheduled to begin last Saturday. Unfortunately, the DZPN called off all matches in that round. The reason was the poor condition of the pitches after the spring thaw. Instead of playing Prochowiczanka, BKS faced Chojnowianka Chojnów in a friendly match. The game was played on Saturday at the pitch in Łąka.
Our team’s goal was scored in the 24th minute by Mateusz Janczyszyn. Our team played an average match. Paweł Rissmann and Krzysztof Szymański failed to convert good scoring opportunities. Chojnowianka equalised by taking advantage of confusion in the BKS penalty area.
In the first half, the Bolesławiec side had the advantage. The standout players were Marek Kumoś, Adam Klimas and Mateusz Janczyszyn. In the second half, coach Krzysztof Lechowski made several changes. Pełdiak, Janicki, Juszczak and Rydzak, among others, came onto the pitch. With the substitutes’ introduction, the team began to play chaotically. What was most lacking was cohesion and accurate passing. The match ended in a 1–1 draw.
This Saturday, at 3:00 p.m., BKS will face Górnik Złotoryja at home.
