The 22nd Dolne Młyny Football Tournament is now underway. It is held once a year. Since early morning, matches between unaffiliated teams have been taking place at the Orlik pitch next to II Liceum Ogólnokształcące. Five teams took part in the first section of the tournament. Two teams entered the children’s category for players under 10. Meanwhile, the senior tournament is scheduled to begin at around 3:00 p.m. It will feature veterans of Zagłębie Lubin, Śląsk Wrocław and Miedź Legnica, as well as two BKS Bolesławiec teams. Pea soup and grilled sausages await those who are hungry. After the tournament, a traditional gathering will be held, where the veteran footballers will reminisce about the old days and discuss their plans for the future.
