Our Reader, a resident of Jurków, wrote in an SMS to the editorial office:
Please get involved in finding the owner of the plot located next to the village community center in Jurków and mobilize them to mow this area. (Let me mention that this is not the only such area in the village. The remaining ones are under the authority of the agricultural agency.)
And added:
I would like to remind you that the plot adjoins a sports field and a playground, and this request is being made for safety reasons. All kinds of creepy-crawlies breed in this wilderness. They may not be venomous, but a child could get quite frightened. That is one thing; secondly, all these grasses release pollen and spread to nearby crops.
We asked the Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality Office for a comment:
The Wójt of Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality, by a letter dated today, [czyli 21 czerwca – przyp. red.]ordered the owner to mow the aforementioned plot.
