Two brothers, aged 31 and 38, were caught by police after selling, among other things, laptop cases without components in parking lots and at petrol stations. The first crime took place in December last year. The fraudsters offered two men laptops and a television for sale. The buyers paid almost PLN 3,000 for the equipment. However, it turned out that the computers did not work, and there was no television in the box at all.

On 5 March, the brothers again tried to sell faulty goods. They were caught because one of the victims recognised them. The man detained the younger fraudster and called the police. The 31-year-old's accomplice fled. Officers arrested him later that same day.
