That day, the area in front of the school looked very festive and colorful. It was decorated with unique, handmade decorations as well as rainbow balloons. The entire school community was involved in organizing the event. Many attractions and surprises awaited the guests. Everyone could find something interesting for themselves.
For the sixth time, the originator and coordinator of the picnic was Anna Pronkiewicz. The special-school community:
On this special day, our school welcomed representatives of Powiat Bolesławiecki: the Starosta, Mr Karol Stasik, the Deputy Starosta, Mr Tomasz Gabrysiak, and the Head of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport, Ms Alicja Krzyszczak. The City of Bolesławiec was represented by Deputy Mayor, Mr Kornel Filipowicz.
The school grounds filled, minute by minute, with the bustle and laughter of happy children. Students from Bolesławiec primary schools and preschools arrived, along with entire families and their children. For the second time, guests from a partner school in Hoyerswerda accepted the invitation from the Bolesławiec school.
There were plenty of attractions: inflatable play equipment, soap bubbles, painting plaster casts, and making stress balls. All of this guaranteed unforgettable experiences.
After the shared activities, everyone could enjoy blood sausage, grilled sausage and fries, while homemade cakes, waffles and fruit salads were served for dessert. “So many attractions were possible thanks to the support, generosity and help of people of good will, as well as volunteers from II Liceum Ogólnokształcące and Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych in Bolesławiec,” representatives of PZSiPS say. “The favorable weather meant that children and adults had a wonderful time. The picnic was a highly successful event, important for bringing the community together. And its greatest success turned out to be... the children’s smiles. Events of this kind positively strengthen family and peer bonds, foster integration, and provide an excellent opportunity to spend free time actively and healthily outdoors. We sincerely thank all the invited guests who found time to share a little happiness and joy with our students and pupils. We invite you to the next picnic in a year.
