You could find out on Saturday, June 9, at the County Office on Armii Krajowej Street in Bolesławiec, during the County Blues event organized as part of the Week with the County, that the City of Ceramics does not run on disco polo at all, but on blues. Three excellent bands performed for the audience, including two from Bolesławiec: Wojtek Blues Band and DBL Trio. The evening’s headline act was the Tricity-based Cotton Wing, playing an explosive mix of blues, soul, funk and rock. Anyone who missed it certainly has something to regret.
Something for the body: a feast for every palate
Foodies, what a treat! The Food Truck Rally, or World Cuisine Festival, will continue through Sunday in the parking lot by the County Office on Armii Krajowej Street in Bolesławiec as part of the Week with the County. “This delicious destination should not be missed during the coming weekend,” county officials encourage.
They add: “It’s tasty, delicious, fantastic... We certainly aren’t exaggerating. You will see that food trucks serve specialties that are finger-licking good. You will change the way you think about a ‘food stall on wheels.’ You will discover that it means flavor, tradition and an excellent feast for the palate.”
There are hits from around the world: culinary wonders from America, Spain, France and even Turkey. Sweets are not missing either, including Thai ice cream!
“Several dozen food trucks will convince you that you can eat well outdoors. This weekend, you don’t have to worry about either lunch or afternoon tea. Everyone will find something for themselves at the rally!” the County assures.
