Saturday with Bolesławiec County—as part, of course, of the Week with the County—began with another edition of RUNdka with the County, an approximately 60-kilometre relay race involving more than 60 runners. (The initiator of the event, the late Dariusz Kwaśniewski, former Bolesławiec County head, was not forgotten either.)
Fun and promoting a healthy lifestyle
A Sports Picnic is currently taking place in the car park by the County Office on Armii Krajowej Street in Bolesławiec. The programme will include, among other things, fitness and Zumba demonstrations.
Something for the body: a feast for every palate
Foodies, here is a real treat! The Food Truck Rally, or World Cuisine Festival, is taking place in the car park by the County Office on Armii Krajowej Street in Bolesławiec as part of the Week with the County. “This tasty destination cannot be missed during the coming weekend,” county officials encourage.
They add: “It is tasty, delicious, sensational... We are certainly not exaggerating. You will see that the food trucks serve such specialities that you will lick your fingers. You will change the way you think about a ‘food truck’. You will discover that it means flavour, tradition and an excellent feast for the palate.”
There are hits from different parts of the world: culinary wonders from America, Spain, France and even Turkey. There are sweets too—including Thai ice cream!
“Several dozen food trucks will convince you that you can eat well outdoors. This weekend, you do not have to worry about either lunch or an afternoon snack. Everyone will find something for themselves at the rally!” the County assures.
And something for the spirit: a musical feast
The third edition of the Festival of Many Cultures will begin at 2:00 p.m.. And at 5:00 p.m. Powiatowy Blues will begin. The evening’s star will be the well-known group Cotton Wing, which plays an explosive blend of soul, funk, blues and rock. You cannot miss it.
