PKN Orlen’s press office promised that the potholes at the railway crossing on Cieszkowskiego Street in Bolesławiec would disappear by the end of May this year. However, that does not appear likely. We asked the fuel giant about this project. Here is the response:
A contractor has already been selected through a tender procedure to carry out the renovation of the railway crossing on Cieszkowskiego Street in Bolesławiec. Given the scope of work specified in the contract, it became necessary to completely close this section of national road No. 94 for the duration of the renovation. In this situation, it was necessary to obtain approvals from the road managers responsible for the roads along which detours will be organized, as well as permits to carry out the construction work. Taking into account the time required for administrative proceedings, completion of the renovation is planned for the turn of the third and fourth quarters of 2018.
PKN Orlen’s press office adds:
The renovation contractor has assured us that, should the necessary permits be obtained earlier, the renovation will begin as soon as possible.
