The District Board of the Democratic Left Alliance in Bolesławiec invites everyone on Wednesday, March 4, at 5:00 p.m. to the SLD headquarters at 15 Opitza Street. An open meeting with Sergiusz Najar, a former deputy foreign minister, will be held there. The topic of the meeting will be “The Global Financial Crisis and Its Consequences for Poland.”

Sergiusz Najar is a graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. He also completed postgraduate studies in economics and European studies. In 2002–2003, he served as Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and subsequently as deputy foreign minister (2003–2005). He participated in Poland’s accession negotiations with the European Union. He has many years of experience working in the banking sector. He managed Citibank’s structures and established mBank in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He was a manager at Bank Handlowy and Bank Ochrony Środowiska. He founded the Kronenberg Foundation and is a member of numerous social and economic organizations.
