This year’s edition was attended by five institutions from Sobótka, Brzeg Dolny, Godzięcin, Radzionków and Iwiny. Thirty-seven participants presented approximately 60 works.

In the courtyard of Kliczków Castle, where the exhibition was held, the young artists presented their works to visitors and invited guests, among whom we had the pleasure of welcoming Alicja Krzyszczak, head of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport.

This was a special day for the exhibition participants. The exhibition was opened on behalf of the director of Kliczków Castle by Anna Serkies, who welcomed the invited guests and then, together with Małgorzata Kowalska, director of the Rehabilitation Team in Iwiny, presented the arriving participants with awards.

This year, awards were presented in two categories: visual art and photography.
The awards in the visual art category went to:

  • First place Katarzyna Wołyniec – MOW Sobótka
  • Second place Sylwia Sobczyk – MOW Godzięcin
  • Third place Ewa Wojciszek – MOW Godzięcin

Photography category:

  • First place Magdalena Koprowaska – MOW Radzionków
  • Second place Patryk Rogala – MOW Iwiny
  • Third place Adrian Wisńsniewski – MOW Iwiny

In addition, two distinctions were awarded in the photography category: Krzysztof Kaczmarek – MOW Iwiny and Natalia Grochowicz – MOW Radzionków.

Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, all competition participants received gifts and commemorative certificates from the organisers, the Rehabilitation Team in Iwiny.
After the awards ceremony, thanks to the courtesy of the management of Kliczków Castle, the young people, together with their educators and invited guests, went on a tour of the property. The tour was followed by a ceremonial bonfire at Folwark Książęcy. The refreshments were accompanied by pleasant conversations, games and activities which, as evening approached, sadly had to come to an end. The organisers would like to thank all the guests who attended and invite them again next year.
