The incident occurred after 6:00 p.m. in Ocice near Bolesławiec. The 32-year-old resident of the village was flying a kite in the wind. The toy’s string caught on a medium-voltage power line. The man was electrocuted. An ambulance and a Polish Medical Air Rescue helicopter were called.
The resuscitation was successful, and the accident victim was taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec. The helicopter did not have to transport the injured man.
