Primatologist Davis Okoye (Dwayne Johnson), who keeps people at a distance, has formed a strong bond with George, an exceptionally intelligent silverback gorilla whom he has cared for since birth. Unfortunately, as a result of a failed genetic experiment, this gentle ape transforms into a gigantic, enraged beast. To make matters worse, it soon turns out that other animals have undergone a similar transformation. The newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path. Okoye joins forces with a genetic engineer rejected by his peers to find an antidote. At the same time, he struggles to survive on an ever-changing battlefield and not only prevent a global catastrophe, but also save the terrifying creature that was once his friend.

Benek is a proud goose, a carefree bachelor and a happy-go-lucky sort who lets himself do whatever he wants. He much prefers aerial acrobatics and daring stunts to training for the migration to warmer countries that awaits him. During one of his spectacular flights, something goes wrong and the gander crashes straight into a flock of ducklings. As a result of the accident, two chicks become separated from their brothers and sisters, while the main character suffers an injury that prevents him from taking flight. Instead of continuing to fly, they will be forced to waddle. Benek must now look after the little ones and sets off with them on the journey of a lifetime, through picturesque mountains, magnificent lakes, bamboo forests and caves full of mysteries. Through this adventure, Benek discovers the power of unconditional love and becomes the best father in the entire bird world for the ducklings.
