It is solid old-school action cinema, elegantly made though without fireworks, focused on its characters and free from unbearable Hollywood grandiloquence. The sixteen-year-old grandson of the world’s richest man is kidnapped. His devoted mother tries to persuade the unyielding billionaire to pay the kidnappers’ ransom.
