On 2 May, a brief ceremony marking Flag Day took place in Bolesławiec’s market square. Residents of Bolesławiec, city and county authorities, soldiers from the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, and American soldiers from the 218th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade stationed at the Bolesławiec garrison were present. Standard-bearer groups from Bolesławiec schools, workplaces, and other institutions were also present.
