On Monday, an irritated reader called the Istotne.pl editorial office. The man was upset by the work carried out by road workers who cut up the asphalt in two places on Śluzowa Street (near the entrance gate to the cemetery; photos and video footage from Monday are below), then left the holes and drove away. Signs warn of the holes, and a speed limit is in effect. The man was annoyed that, as usual, the holes were cut out and, instead of immediately proceeding with further work, they were left there—with drivers expected to watch out... The holes left after the asphalt was cut out are deep enough to actually damage a car.

“The work has now been completed,” Paweł Bednarski, head of the County Roads Authority, informed us.Paweł Bednarski. Speed humps have been installed on Śluzowa Street.
