On Friday, 13 February, Marek Domrzalski, village head of the Osiecznica-Kliczków village council, and Damian Tomiak, supervisor of the Youth Fire Brigade at the Volunteer Fire Service in Osiecznica, donated PLN 300 to the Children’s Home in Bolesławiec.
The money was raised during a New Year’s Eve ball. For the second time, people associated with Osiecznica have supported the Bolesławiec Children’s Home. In January 2008, the Youth Fire Brigade raised PLN 800 for the institution.
