Renovation work has begun on Dolne Młyny Street. For now, the construction workers have turned their attention to the pavement.
Let us recall. In January, readers asked us to take up the issue of the pavement along the county road, Dolne Młyny Street in Bolesławiec:
It is simply a disaster trying to walk along Dolne Młyny Street. Gas-related work was carried out on this street recently, and these are the results... It is a shame that pedestrians are suffering because of it...
They added: “The children are supposed to walk along this pavement to school tomorrow…”
In our January article, we added that, fortunately, the renovation of Dolne Młyny Street was one of the county-municipal investments announced for 2018. And that we hoped the local authorities would repair both the potholed road—which we have written about repeatedly in our pages—and the barely better pavement, which did not look any better during the day:
