The team TS Parzyce, competing in the regional league, will not take part in the spring round. The club is withdrawing from the competition. This is sad news for football fans in the region, but above all it is sad for the players, fans and supporters of TS, who will not be able to get excited by matches involving their team. Let us recall that in the previous season, Parzyce were promoted from first place to the regional league. There will also be no more fierce derby clashes in which Parzyce faced Sparta Zebrzydowa, Piast Wykroty and BKS Bolesławiec. Below, we present the letter the club sent to the Mayor of Nowogrodziec, Robert Relich:

Parzyce, 14 March 2018

Mayor of the Municipality and City of Nowogrodziec

At a board meeting, the Management Board of the Parzyce Sports Association decided to discontinue the club's activities. The reason for this decision is the lack of a subsidy from the municipal office to conduct the senior team's competition in the regional league during the 2018 spring round. The lack of sanitary infrastructure at the pitch in Parzyce has resulted in the team being barred from football competitions by OZPN-Jelenia Góra.

The decision to discontinue running the team was also caused by the lack of cooperation and assistance from the Nowogrodziec Municipal Office.

TS Parzyce Board

President: Bronisław Kopeć

Vice-president: Wiesław Szajwaj

Board member: Zbigniew Kapusta

As we read on the TS Parzyce profile:

We would like to thank our fans and everyone who cared about the continued operation of our local symbol of joy and victory for their words of support and encouragement, faith in this club and assistance. On this sad day for the future of TS Parzyce, we offer "special" thanks to the mayor of the municipality and city of Nowogrodziec.
