The provisions of the law restricting Sunday trading came into force on 1 March 2018. As we read on the superbiz.se.pl:

This year, only two Sundays a month will be trading Sundays; in 2019, the trading ban will apply on almost all Sundays except one per month, and in 2020, a total ban on Sunday trading will be introduced.
