Officers from Jelenia Góra shut down an illegal tobacco-cutting facility located on the premises of one of the stone-processing plants in Świdnica County. The uniformed officers seized 70 kg of illegal cut tobacco (worth PLN 50,000) and a tobacco-cutting machine valued at PLN 10,000.

Moreover, a gas pistol was found on the Ukrainian man who was on the premises of the plant. The 54-year-old did not have a permit for it. He could now face up to 8 years in prison.

Steps are under way to apprehend the owner of the illegal goods.
