Police officers from Zgorzelec, together with officers of the Customs and Tax Service, seized four gambling machines at a venue in Zgorzelec County. “The experiment carried out proved that the way in which gambling was organized at this location constitutes an offense defined in the Fiscal Penal Code,” the officers said. “The gambling machines discovered were handed over to officers of the Lower Silesian Customs and Tax Office, Legnica Branch, who will conduct further proceedings in this case.
Both the owner of the premises and the owner of the machines may now face up to three years in prison, as well as a fine of up to PLN 400,000.
