During the morning assemblies, a letter from the Minister of National Defence Mariusz Błaszczak was read:

On the National Day of Remembrance of the Cursed Soldiers, we pay tribute to the soldiers of the independence underground. It is a time for patriotic reflection and for bowing our heads before the most loyal heroes of the post-war anti-communist underground.

Today, we can present the truth about the generation of the Unbroken Soldiers. We show that they were true heroes who, instead of being forgotten, deserved honors, respect and commemoration. The words “God,” “Honor” and “Homeland” meant more to them than an inscription on a banner.

Thanks to the holiday, established on the initiative of the late President Lech Kaczyński, we are restoring to the heroes of the so-called second underground their rightful place in our history.

Glory to the heroes of the post-war anti-communist underground!

Honor the memory of the Cursed Soldiers!

The soldiers from Świętoszów once again paid tribute to the Cursed Soldiers. Last week, a history competition on this very subject was held at the unit. The armored cavalry soldiers demonstrated truly extensive knowledge; this highly important subject is not unfamiliar to them. In addition, an exhibition devoted to the Cursed Soldiers was organized in the military library of the armored brigade.

Every soldier of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade has the opportunity to take a kind of history lesson. Remembering our fellow countrymen is the duty of every Pole, including every soldier.
