Bolesławiec Cultural Centre treated the residents of Bolesławiec to a true hard-rock feast. On Thursday, 29 January, two bands performed in the Forum hall: Wrocław's Snake Charmer and Złe Psy, Andrzej Nowak's group from the legendary TSA.

This is how the Wrocław musicians describe their work: “We do not save the world. We do not save souls. We simply play. With fire. Wildly. Spontaneously.” Their performance in Bolesławiec confirmed these words one hundred percent. The quintet delivered a highly energetic and vibrant concert. The Polish-language rendition of a song from Bruce Springsteen's repertoire, “Born In The USA”, stood out in particular, with the chorus changed to “Born In The PRL”.

Rock fans were above all waiting for the evening's headliners – Złe Psy, Andrzej Nowak's group from TSA. The band's leader proved that he is not only a very good guitarist, but also a charismatic vocalist. The group performed, among other songs, tracks from their debut album “Forever”. The residents of Bolesławiec heard such songs as “Księżycowa”, “Deszcz z jednej łzy”, “Szampan”, “Motocykl”, “Pitbull” and Tadeusz Nalepa's cover “Kiedy byłem małym chłopcem”. As it turned out, the audience gathered in the Forum hall knew the Dogs' work very well. Fans sang along with Nowak on some of the songs.

For the encore, the band played its signature song – “Złego psa”. The group creates music that comes across best live. An excellent rhythm section (with Marek Kapłon from TSA himself on drums!), impressive, if economical, guitar solos, and the leader's chats with the audience all combined to make for a very good concert.
