The incident occurred after 6:30 p.m. at a roundabout in Łąka. A 40-year-old driving a Volkswagen Passat hit a drunk pedestrian, a 43-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, who entered the roadway. Police and an ambulance were called to the scene.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with a head injury and two broken legs.
