Anyone who meets Dominik and his grandparents will surely not remain indifferent to the tragedy that occurred last year on Spokojna Street. Dominik killed his mother’s partner and injured her.
The situation at the boy’s home had been bad for a long time. His mother, Agnieszka K., and her partner, Rafał P., abused alcohol. The 19-year-old worked and studied, but his family squandered his money. On that fateful day, he learned that his mother had sold some of his belongings at a pawn shop. That was the final straw. The boy attacked the woman and her partner.

The fact that Dominik was released from detention and may stand trial while at liberty was made possible by the involvement of many people; the effective work of the team of lawyers, including attorney Wojciech Kasprzyk, the surety provided by Dawid Karol Kołodziej, and the petition campaign in which the istotne.pl portal took part.
