On Thursday (1 February), a formal farewell was held at the Old Theatre in Bolesławiec for the retiring County Commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec Senior Brigadier, MSc Eng. Grzegorz Kocon. The new Commander of the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service is Junior Brigadier, MSc Eng. Andrzej Śliwowski, who most recently served as Deputy Commander of the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Złotoryja. The ceremony was attended by representatives of local government authorities and numerous delegations from fire services across the region.
Andrzej Śliwowski is 43 years old. He began his service in the fire department in 1995. Since 2010, he had served as deputy commander in Złotoryja.
