The third installment of “Letters to Santa” did the most to boost attendance; 6,729 viewers watched this charming and uncomplicated Polish comedy. “Botoks” came right after “Letters to Santa 3”: 5,283 people went to the cinema in Bolesławiec to see it.

Patryk Vega’s “Botoks” was the most discussed film of last year. It has its fans and its fierce opponents. Tasteless, unnecessary, untrue—these are some of the assessments viewers and critics used to describe the director of “Pitbull’s” latest film. Despite the unfavorable reviews, a record number of viewers saw the film: within 3 days, 711,000 people went to cinemas to see “Botoks”.

The third record-breaker at the Bolesławiec cinema was the children’s and adults’ animated film “Despicable Me 3”, watched by 4,505 people. The sadomasochistic Grey is still in charge: 4,119 people came to see the next installment of the quasi-erotic film “Fifty Shades Darker”. At the bottom of our list is “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”, with 4,049 viewers in the auditorium.

Congratulations on the attendance, and we invite you to Forum Cinema. This weekend: two Polish comedies, “Panic Attack” and “Taxing Love”. For connoisseurs, “On Body and Soul”, the film awarded the Golden Bear at the latest Berlinale by the acclaimed Hungarian director Ildikó Enyedi. Also showing is the Polish drama “The Snow Queen’s Son”, based on a fairy-tale motif.
