The “Let’s Support Health” Foundation primarily brings together employees of the Bolesławiec SP ZOZ. “The well-being of this hospital is close to our hearts,” assures Barbara Kozomaricz, the organisation’s vice-president. – “We care about improving its image. We are doing everything in our power to make that happen.”

Hospital employees have repeatedly become involved in charitable campaigns. Two years ago, someone came up with the idea of establishing a foundation. “The registration process was lengthy and lasted almost a year,” says Radosław Jabłoński, a member of the organisation. The “Let’s Support Health” Foundation was entered in the National Court Register, and in October 2008 obtained public benefit organisation status.

“We have already carried out a promotional campaign that helped us launch our activities,” says Jabłoński. During last year’s Ceramics Festival, employees of the county hospital put up a green tent where they provided free preventive examinations. They managed to collect approximately PLN 700 in donations.

“We have many ideas,” Barbara Kozomaricz emphasises. In spring, the Foundation wants to organise a “white Saturday”, an event during which residents of our county will be able to come for medical examinations. “The hospital’s needs are enormous,” the vice-president points out. “The list is long. It ranges from seemingly minor things, such as new bed linen, to medical equipment,” adds Radosław Jabłoński. He assures that not a single złoty will be wasted, because medical equipment is very expensive.

The Foundation wants to conduct a promotional campaign and establish cooperation with businesses. All this is intended to fulfil its statutory objectives, such as supporting the needs of the hospital and its patients. Foundation members plan not only to purchase medical equipment, but also to help patients, for example by co-financing treatment.

Residents of our county can support the Foundation’s activities by donating 1% of their income tax. All they need to do is enter the number KRS 0000295277 in their annual tax return. More information about the organisation is available by calling +48 757380255.
