17 January: “Bamse and the City of Thieves”, 2016 animated film, Sweden. Bamse must protect his grandmother from the evil fox Reynard. Unfortunately, she is kidnapped, preventing her from making the honey that makes Bamse the strongest bear in the world. He therefore sets off with his friends—a turtle and a little rabbit—on a dangerous journey to the Forest of Thieves. The adventure-filled expedition will show them how great the power of friendship is.

19 January: “Wiplala”, family adventure film, 2014, Netherlands. Wiplala unexpectedly appears in the Blom family’s kitchen; he looks like a 10-centimetre-tall person. Wiplala has magical abilities, but he is not very good at controlling them, so he accidentally shrinks the entire family. An exciting adventure of small people in a big world begins.

22 January: “SuperSpark: Galactic Mission”, Canada, South Korea. ark and his friends plan to reclaim their planet, which has been taken over by the evil Zhong.

24 January: “The New Adventures of Aladdin”, 2016 comedy, Belgium, France. Two petty thieves fleeing pursuit find shelter in the children’s department of a large department store, where children force them to tell fairy tales.

26 January: “The Golden Horse”, 2014 animated film, Denmark, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Latvia, 75 min. A powerful witch casts a spell of eternal sleep on the king’s daughter and seals her in a glass coffin. The king announces that he will give his daughter’s hand to whoever frees her.
