The event aims to popularize and promote running as the simplest form of physical activity. The organizers are the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre and the Bolesławiec Running Club. Anyone could participate in the races, regardless of place of residence, including both amateurs and athletes holding sports licenses.

In 2017, 266 participants took part in the “Four Seasons – Run with MOSiR” competitions. Runners from Česká Lípa also took part in the spring race.

In 2017, 28 participants took part in every event in the series, receiving a 40-point bonus in the final classification. In addition to the runners, a Nordic Walking group of more than 40 people completed the 4,321 m Bobrowa Running Trail.

Prizes can be collected until the end of January 2018 at the event office at the Municipal Stadium (2 Spółdzielcza Street), Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
