On Saturday, January 17, StarBol’s senior team faced the WSTK Wschowa Sława basketball players. The game was very evenly matched. Unfortunately, the outcome was decided in the second half of the first quarter, during which the visitors scored 16 consecutive points and took a 21:12 lead. Throughout the game, the StarBol players unsuccessfully tried to make up the deficit.
Mariusz Zgrzebcnicki had an excellent game for WSTK Wschowa Sława, scoring 21 points. Practically every shot he took found its way into the basket. Wojtek Klimek (30 points) and Damian Krajewski (2 three-pointers) were particularly noteworthy for StarBol.
Both teams were missing key players. Paweł Minciel was sidelined for StarBol (2 technical fouls). The injured Dariusz Dzierżyc and Zbyszek Owczarek were also unable to show their full abilities.

The postponed game from round 8 of the “Promotion to the 2nd Men’s League” competition between KK StarBol Bolesławiec and KS TOP Bolesławiec will be played on Sunday, January 25, in the gymnasium of the Zespół Szkół Handlowych i Usługowych at ul. Zgorzelecka. Tip-off is at 4:00 p.m.
