A fire broke out on Monday, January 8, after 8:00 p.m., in the basement of a house in Stare Jaroszowice. Several fire engines were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control. One person was given assistance and an ambulance was called.

As we read on the Facebook profile of volunteer firefighters from Warta Bolesławiecka:

After the Bolesławiec Rescue and Firefighting Unit crews arrived at the scene, it turned out that the fire had engulfed the basement, including the boiler room. As a result of the fire, a resident of the house suffered burns and was taken away by a medical rescue team.

The operation lasted nearly two hours and involved 24 firefighters (six crews). Details are available on the website of the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service.
