On January 2, at around 8:00 a.m., officers from the Legnica traffic police stopped the driver of an Iveco truck for inspection on Pątnowska Street. It turned out that the 35-year-old driver, a resident of Legnica, was drunk; he had 1.6 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The man lost his driving licence and will be banned from driving. What is more, he could face up to two years behind bars.
