Deputy District Governor Mariusz Wieczorek and staff members of the Roads and Investments Department of the Zgorzelec District Office inspected the completed project involving the demolition of the shaft of an industrial chimney on the premises of the St. Barbara Vocational School Complex in Bogatynia.
The demolition of the over-30-metre chimney was necessitated by its poor technical condition, including a vertical crack in the shaft masonry, corrosion of the brick surfaces and steel elements, as well as numerous structural defects.
The contract was carried out by Molto, a specialist company from Wrocław. The total cost of the project, financed entirely from the Zgorzelec District’s own funds, amounted to PLN 82,025.
