On 17 November, municipal police officers took official action following a report concerning the storage of a large quantity of boards behind Wybickiego Street. The boards were lying close to the entrance to a staircase, preventing residents from entering freely.
The officers identified the perpetrator of the offence, who was fined and ordered to clear away the boards. (Which he did.)
The Municipal Police remind residents that littering in public places is punishable. “Moreover, once again, we inform you that detailed information concerning the collection of various types of waste, which we can deliver ourselves to the Selective Waste Collection Point at 6 Staszica Street in Bolesławiec, is provided by the Customer Service Office of the Municipal Utilities Management Company, tel. 75 734 62 71, extension no. 34.”
