The Volunteer Fire Department in Gromadka has received a new fire engine. The vehicle will be used for technical and environmental operations, including protecting the environment from chemical contamination.

“The vehicle is equipped with modern technical solutions, which will significantly improve the effectiveness and speed of operations carried out by the volunteer firefighters from the Volunteer Fire Department in Gromadka,” municipal officials say. “With the new equipment, the unit will increase its operational and tactical effectiveness.”

The vehicle was purchased with funding from Gromadka Municipality, the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service, and the Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
