On Wednesday, 15 November, local government officials from Bolesławiec County and the Bolesławiec Municipality accepted the completed work on the county road, Komuny Paryskiej Street. “This is another investment on a county road carried out in partnership with the City of Bolesławiec,” says Bolesławiec County head Karol Stasik. As part of the project, a 340-metre pavement covering an area of 1,340 square metres was rebuilt. According to county officials, this has significantly improved safety on the street.
The pavement reconstruction cost PLN 130,000, while the Municipality spent a similar amount on new lighting along Komuny Paryskiej Street.
“During the pavement renovation, together with the City Council, I decided that we would replace the lamps here,” emphasizes Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman. “I have already spoken to several residents, and they are all impressed—not only by the aesthetics, but also by how brightly the lamps shine.”
“It would be good if, now that this is such a beautiful street, the property managers renovated the façades as well,” adds K. Stasik.
