A reader informed us that the trees on Asnyka Street in Bolesławiec are tied with cords that are cutting into the bark, causing the plants—as the man believes—to struggle. What is more, they may even dry out.
“The trees in containers on Asnyka Street are secured with perforated tree ties made of PP plastic,” istotne.pl was told by Grażyna Strzyżewska, deputy head of the Municipal Housing Management Facility in Bolesławiec. “We will take a closer look at these ties and may replace them with other flexible fastenings in order to maintain the trees’ stability.”
