The acceptance was carried out by the Zgorzelec County Head Urszula Ciupak, Deputy County Head Mariusz Wieczorek, substantive staff of the Zgorzelec County Office headed by the Director of the Investments and Road Construction Department, Agnieszka Skonieczka (responsible for obtaining external funding and carrying out the project), representatives of Gmina Zgorzelec and the contractor.
– This is another road project handed over for use this year, say county officials. – Let us recall that this year the county roads on the Radzimów–Bierna and Studniska Dolne–Studniska Górne routes underwent major repairs. Meanwhile, construction of a sidewalk along county road no. 2376D in Skrzydlice and improvement of the shoulder along county road no. 2395D in Łagów are currently under way.
The cost of modernizing the road in Gozdanin, including repairs to culverts and shoulders, amounted to over PLN 1 million 305 thousand, of which approximately PLN 638,777 was obtained from the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Road Infrastructure Development Programme for Municipalities and Counties for 2016–2019. The remaining amount was financed by Powiat Zgorzelecki and Gmina Zgorzelec.
