– “For several years, the regional government has been investing in the development of the region’s rail connection network. As a result, over the past three years, the number of passengers using rail services in Lower Silesia has doubled and will exceed 22 million in 2017,” representatives of the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship say.
The new timetable comes into effect in one month. The number of connections will increase on almost all lines in the region. “It is also worth emphasizing that, with the new timetable, the standard of travel will improve significantly on some lines in the region. The Wrocław–Żmigród, Wrocław–Jelenia Góra and Wrocław–Kłodzko lines will be served by new five-car electric trains operated by Koleje Dolnośląskie,” says Marshal Cezary Przybylski.
